NEW BEDFORD — Four girls reported missing in New Bedford early this morning have been located.

New Bedford Police sent out a reverse 911 call to city residents at about 2:07 a.m. Monday, reporting that four girls ranging in age from eight-years-old to 11-years-old were missing in the area of Bonney Street. They were described as all four having hazel eyes with brown or black hair.

Police spokesperson Melissa Batchilder told WBSM News shortly before 8:30 this morning that the girls had been located and are safe.
