Some positive news for the Boston Red Sox, as it looks like a Spring Training favorite is set to make the teams roster.

According to Peter Abraham of the Boston Globe, Bradley is going to be on the field for Boston on Opening Day 2013 against the rival New York Yankees.

Yesterday the Red Sox informed Ryan Sweeney that they would not be picking up his contract, so that leaves room for Jackie Bradley Jr to be added to roster. Bradley was asked about the situation, and said no one has mentioned anything to him as of yet. Sox Manager John Farrell also wouldn't say much on the situation.
