Massachusetts is home to an abundance of small businesses. Everything from retail to restaurants, construction to consulting, and spas and salons, they cover all aspects of business.

One small spa in the Worcester area has landed itself in some hot water. Earlier this week, police executed a court-authorized search warrant at Westborough Wellness Spa, located at 71 East Main Street, in Westborough as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged illegal activity, according to WCVB.

According to it's website, Westborough Wellness Spa invites patrons  "to relax and peace your body and mind, whose technique will be uniquely tailored to fit your inner body. You’ll quickly unwind and relieve any built-up stress you may have from your work and home. We invite you to reach your goals of stress reduction, relaxation and pain relief, combined with our skillful bodywork and rejuvenating methods."

As a result of the raid, officers arrested the owner, Michael Langille, and the manager, Leir Guo who were arraigned the same day. The twosome are facing charges of keeping a house of prostitution, procuring a person to practice prostitution, and deriving support from prostitution.

The investigation is on going conducted by local authorities along with the Department of Homeland Security, the Massachusetts State Police, and the Worcester County District Attorney's office

Officials are asking anyone with information related to the case to contact the Westborough Police Department Investigations Unit at (508) 475-4250.
