One of the best athletes to ever hit the court is being honored at the International Tennis Hall of Fame. On Saturday, August 29, 2026, award-winning tennis star Roger Federer will be inducted into the hall of fame in Newport, Rhode Island.

The week-long celebration includes activities and free tennis on Bowen's Wharf, a celebrity-attended red carpet, induction ceremony and more.

Federer will be honored alongside former tennis pro and sportscaster Mary Carillo.

Who Is Roger Federer?

The Switzerland-born tennis star made his mark on the tennis world in 1998, turning pro at the age of 16. However, it wasn't until the early 2000s that he became a household name, winning multiple titles and setting records. He retired from the sport in September 2022.
