What started 25 years ago by the Mattapoisett Lions Club as small seaside fundraiser has turned into an annual signature event and revenue generator that attracts thousands of excited townfolk and visitors alike. Proceeds still benefit the Lions Club's local projects. Last year, Harbor Days welcomed about 10,000 people. You'll see a large display of crafts and gifts and food galore!

Friday night from 5:30 to 8:30 pm, it's a fresh fish fry under a tent for $9.50. Entertainment will go until 10 pm. Saturday and Sunday, great music acts like Butch McCarthy and the Showstoppers, plus a lot of demonstrations and enjoyable events. On Saturday night, the Lion's Club will host a Lobster Fest, complete with boiled lobster dinner, chowder and corn on the cob for $20. And enjoy a sausage and pancake breakfast (regular or blueberry) for only $5.

Kids can pan for gold, press flowers, make crafts, see hand-blown glass, handmade clothing, wood carving and so many other items vendors will have on display. You'll probably see friends you haven't seen in a while, strolling through a picture perfect town by-the-sea and their magnificent Harbor Days.
