It’s Basically Hijacking Democracy [PHIL-OSOPHY]
The master plan of implementing mail-in ballots before the 2020 election was a stratagem of the highest order.
A stratagem is a tactic designed to gain the upper hand, especially one involving underhanded dealings or deception. This state and many others already had an interconnected and orderly plan in place called absentee balloting. So, kudos to the Democrat thinkers, movers and shakers who introduced the second mail-in system, which allowed for mail-in voting in all 2020 elections with no excuses needed, which I believe kidnapped democracy and the 2020 presidential election.
Formally stated, Newton's third law of motion is: "For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction." This is where physics and politics meet head-on, as the Republicans could be eying the electoral college and a legal way to hold on to the presidency for Donald Trump, by blocking secretaries of state in contested states from certifying results. That could allow legislators in those states to appoint new electors who favor Trump over Joe Biden.
To date, Biden's status as projected president-elect is rooted only in media calculations, but the election results don't become official until electors cast their votes next month. If lawsuits successfully stop certification of results in a state, legislators there could step into the void and pick a pro-Trump slate of electors.
If you ask me, I think it's a horrendous and demoralizing idea. But I also felt the same way about the new mail-in ballots.
