Is The Whaling City Festival Cancelled?

Rumors have been swirling all weekend that there would be no Whaling City Festival this summer in New Bedford. On today's "Midday Live with Taylor Cormier", Taylor spoke with Allen Richard, the president of the Whaling City Festival.

The festival wants to stay open later than 8 p.m. to attract more vendors, make a better festival and make more money. The New Bedford Police Chief has said no.
