Just in time for February school vacation next week, Plymouth is welcoming a new trampoline park.  The new park opened on Thursday, and is located in the former TJ Maxx location, right next to the Kohl's in the Shops at 5 Way plaza.  The owner, Jimmy Chen, says he and his staff are ready for what could be the biggest week of his inaugural year for the business.

This is Chen's first venture as a small business owner, although he says he has prior experience managing a couple of restaurants out of state.

Why Plymouth?

Chen says he chose to open the park in Plymouth because there were no other trampoline parks relatively nearby.  "Location is everthing," said Chen.  "Although there is a Sky Zone in Kingston, it is nearly a half hour away from Nova, so it wasn't much of a concern."

What makes this park different from others?

The 50,000 square feet of space is designed to provide fun things for all ages.  There is a toddler area with their own trampolines and a ball pit.  There is a ninja court, a soccer area, and even some pro trampoline space.

 Why a Trampoline Park?

Chen has always dreamed of owning something like a trampoline park.  "I always knew if I was going to open a business it would be something that was fun and brings positivity to the community."

How much does it cost?

The cost is $18 per hour for adults and $12 an hour for children.  Additional time can be purchased in 30 minute intervals.

There is a Glow Night scheduled to kickoff every night at 6 during the school vacation week.
