I Remember You Believed Trump Was A Russian Agent [OPINION]
Remember when you insisted the President of the United States of America was a Russian agent controlled by Putin? I remember it well. It wasn't your fault.
I wonder how you can forget all those years you insisted President Trump was a secret foreign agent under the control of the Russians. I understand you were taken in by a scam. You were stampeded like frightened cattle into a direction that set you over a cliff. You believed the people that told you it was the truth. They abused your trust.
As Otter told Flounder in the movie Animal House, "You f----- up. You trusted us."
On Tuesday, the House Democrats announced two articles of impeachment regarding President Donald J. Trump.
Nothing about him being a secret agent of Putin. The current Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Adam Schiff, a Democrat from California, repeatedly told the world the President of the United States of America was a secret Russian agent. He refused to take questions when he announced the two articles of impeachment to the country. Despite what he told the public, there is no evidence of treason and neither of the weak articles makes that claim.
I will protect the identity of the innocent fools who told me they believed President Trump was a secret agent of Russia because I still basically respect them and I feel bad that the fell for such a ridiculous scam.
Among the victims of the "secret agent" scam I know personally are numerous attorneys, journalists, and a Fortune 500 accountant. I have heard from multiple callers on my radio show that the president was not really the president because he was a secret agent of Putin.
The people that fell for the "secret agent" scam are similar to the fools who fall for other scams. They believe in something that isn't true – in this case, they believed it was impossible for Donald Trump to be elected president. Then a person comes along and tells them they are right to believe in the impossible and they offer them an explanation that is psychologically soothing and a solution to their problems.
I have a regular caller to my show that is believes he has won billions of dollars and he keeps sending money to the scammers. I have tried to help him. The local police have tried to help him. But he believes in the impossible dream and he refuses to accept the logic that would set him free.
Most of the fools who believed the ridiculous idea that the President of the United States of America was a secret Russian agent are good people. They were only able to be conned because they believed in the people who suckered them.
It is up to them to recognize they placed their trust in the hands of the wrong people and to find new people to send to Congress who share their political beliefs and deserve their trust. Or they can keep on believing the radical Democrats who made them look like fools.
