Visiting hours for the public will be held Friday night at the funeral home, from 4-to-8pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Chief Provencher will be held Saturday at 9am at St. Joseph-St. Therese Church on Duncan Street, followed by burial at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.

And on Sunday at 11am, the City of New Bedford will host a memorial service for Chief Provencher at the Zeiterion Performing Arts Center. The public is invited.
