Hero Daughter Lifts SUV Off Dad’s Leg

Call it super human strength when adrenaline has gone crazy, but the father of a 22-year old Plymouth girl calls it heroic!

On Monday, Adam Simmons was under his daughter's Liberty Jeep replacing the brakes when the jacks holding up the vehicle suddenly crashed, pinning his leg to the ground! Rachael Simmons, hearing her father's painful screams, ran outside and saw her dad immobilized under the vehicle and with all her might, lifted the vehicle off his leg so her father could get free.

Doctors said his injuries would have been worse had it not been for the daughter's action. Her father is saying, "she's my hero," while his daughter isn't saying much other than having a very sore back!
