Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is on stage now at the Providence Performing Arts Center. From spells to time travel and epic battles, this show has captivated audiences all over the world.

This Broadway show is jam-packed with everything that fans of the wizarding world will love.

"Something I hear from people consistently is, 'I've never seen a show quite like this before.' My response to that is, 'you've never seen a show quite like this before because there isn't one,'" actor Ryan Hallahan said.

Hallahan plays Potter's nemesis Draco Malfoy in the show.

"I had always been interested in doing the show and I had always thought that if there was any character from the Harry Potter universe that I was interested in playing, it was probably Draco Malfoy," Hallahan said.

"I always thought it would be interesting to revisit that character many years down the road after he's gone through a lot of different changes and has become an adult," he said. "So getting the opportunity to do that has just been very, very exciting."

Hallahan is honored to work on the Tony Award-winning production.

"There is, I think, a responsibility or a stewardship that this has been passed on to you and you have to handle it with care," he said. "It's a wonderful thing to be a part of."

The cast has been busy since it arrived in the Creative Capital, but the actors have found time to step out and enjoy their surroundings.

"I've had such a great time here. I have gotten to eat a lot of good food. I've eaten a lot of amazing seafood particularly," Hallahan said.

"I love the history in the city. I love going and walking through some of the more historic, the 18th, 19th century homes," he said. "The weather now has turned a little bit, so we're getting that crisp New England air in the morning, which is really fantastic."
