The New England Patriots embarked on their trip to Arizona, where they will kick off their 2016 regular season Sunday night, Friday, but with a couple of key players missing.

According to Mark Daniels of the Providence Journal, tight end Rob Gronkowski and linemen Nate Solder and Jonathan Cooper did not accompany their teammates on the team's scheduled flight out west.

Though the three did not join the team flight, there is still reason to believe that they all may play Sunday night against the Cardinals.
