Runaway train is apparently not just a song title. Yesterday (December 10th) a six-car Boston commuter train carrying 50 passengers left a station and traveled through four stops with no one behind the controls before transit officials caught on and stopped it!

Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority operators eventually managed to disable the train and bring it to a stop by cutting off the power to the electrified third rail. Governor Charlie Baker says there's evidence someone with train smarts tampered with the system. The only person injured was the train's operator, who suffered a minor injury when he was brushed by the train. Officials say it was an isolated incident and that passengers shouldn't be worried. But does something like this, indeed, worry you?

The question I have is: Having a "second" train engineer in the control room would avoid something like this from happening. Do you support hiring extra engineers for this purpose?
