Inside Geraldo Rivera’s $5.4 Million Waterfront Haven in Marion
The last reported sighting of former Fox News Channel host Geraldo Rivera at his seasonal vacation home in Marion was more than a year ago. The occasion was the July 19, 2025, marriage of his daughter Simone to Jason Grohowski.
Seagate: Marion’s $5.4M Waterfront Estate
The couple was married at Seagate, the 98-year-old estate at 90 Point Road that Rivera and his fourth wife, C.C. Dyer, purchased in 1994. Built in 1928, the estate's 7,604-square-foot main house sits on a 1.7-acre waterfront lot jutting out into Sippican Harbor.
Two days after the wedding, Rivera wrote a column entitled "Father of the Bride" for the Long Island Press in which he described Seagate as resembling "something out of Great Gatsby."

While Rivera never lived at Seagate year-round, the estate has served as a seasonal summer estate and vacation getaway for more than 30 years. The property is believed to be worth $5.4 million.
Geraldo Rivera’s Early Days on Planting Island
Before purchasing Seagate, Rivera and Dyer vacationed at a more "modest" home on Planting Island, a 42-acre peninsula connected to Marion by a causeway. During the late 1980s and early 1990s, Rivera would reportedly spend a month each summer on the island.

Sailing Voyager: Rivera’s Deep Maritime Ties to Marion
Rivera is an avid sailor who participated frequently in the Marion-Bermuda Cruising Yacht Race in his 70-foot, 52-ton aluminum ketch, Voyager, which he kept in Marion. He later donated his two sailing vessels, including Voyager, to maritime academies.
Where Is Geraldo Rivera Living Now?
While Rivera still shares ownership of Seagate with Dyer, he spends most of his time in Shaker Heights, Ohio, with his fifth wife, Erica Levy.
I'm beginning to wonder if there was some loot in Al Capone's safe after all.
