If your mom brain is already making plans for the kids over winter break, you might want to add Roger Williams Park Zoo to the calendar.

Once again Providence's premier zoo is offering guests discounted admission for their winter wonder days and there's even a day to get in absolutely free as well.

You can round out the year with a last zoo trip of 2024 and pay nothing to go!

As they typically do in January and February, Roger Williams Park Zoo is bringing back their winter wonder days, where everyone enjoys half priced admission from January 1-February 28, 2025.

Every Thursday through Monday from 10AM-4PM, the zoo is open and usually much quieter than other times of the year.

It's a great time to get some fresh air while wandering through the zoo and seeing what your favorite animals get up to in the colder weather.

Plus with the rainforest building and indoor facilities for the giraffes and elephants, there are plenty of places to stop in to warm yourself up if needed.

But if saving 50% off admission isn't tempting enough for you, the zoo has an even sweeter offer on Friday December 27th.

For one day only, the cost of admission to the zoo is zero dollars. Instead, they ask you to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank.

Cardi’s s Furniture & Mattresses has generously offered a truck and staff to help collect all food items from 10AM-3PM that day and they're even delivering everything straight to the RI Food Bank.

You can do good for the community and enjoy a free day at the zoo all at the same time.
