FR Police Seek Public’s Help In Locating Shooting Suspect

Fall River Police are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect in a shooting early Friday.

Lt. Paul Santos says 26 year old Jesse Brule is believed to be homeless and in possession of a firearm.

Police say the shooting happened around 4am on Montaup Street.

Lt. Santos says two men were chasing a third man suspected of smashing the driver's-side window of a car. They cornered the suspect, but at that point the man pulled out a gun and shot one of the men in both shoulders. The shooter then fled the scene.

Jesse Brule is described as a white male, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall with a slim build, weighing 140 pounds.
