Flooding Forces Rhode Island Apartment Building Evacuation
Police are saying nobody was injured yesterday when fire fighters were called to help residents of an apartment complex in Cranston evacuate high flood waters.
About 60 people were forced to leave their apartments, with some in boats, as waters quickly flooded from yesterday’s storm.
The rain and flooding also created a traffic nightmare at the busy intersection of Park and Reservoir avenues.
