Fall River Mayor Will Flanagan may have an advantage on December's recall election ballot.

The Herald News reports New Bedford Superior Court Judge Thomas McGuire released an eight page ruling on the election Thursday night.

It states that Flanagan's name will be at the top of the list along with nine other recall candidates on the December 16th ballot. His name will appear on the ballot a total of three times, which recall proponents call a distinct advantage.

The judge's ruling also says the election will be a final, rather than a preliminary.

Supporters of the recall are "frustrated with the whole process" but are happy a recall election will be held.
