SouthCoast 2023 Fireworks: 4th of July Celebrations Guide
It’s almost that time to deck out in red, white, and blue, set up a few chairs outside, and keep your eyes on the sky to enjoy the Fourth of July festivities on the SouthCoast. This holiday always brings me so much joy as friends and families get together to enjoy the spectacle of the night sky lighting up every which way you turn.
But the question is, where can we find the best display of fireworks this year? We have compiled the ultimate list of fireworks displays in the area, so pick your favorite town and call your friends. It’s almost time for the big show!

BEFORE THE 4TH OF JULY
Marion
Date: Saturday, July 1st (Rain date will be Friday, July 7th)
Time: Dusk, guests are asked to arrive no later than 7 pm
Address: Silvershell Beach, 1-21 Front St, Marion, MA 02738
Admission Price: Free
Important Details: For those located west of Front Street, guests parking on side streets are asked to park facing Converse Road. For those located east of Front Street, guests parking on side streets are asked to park facing Water Street. The exception is for vehicles on Vine Street, which are asked to face west toward Front Street.
No parking will be allowed on the south side of Lewis Street between Front Street and Converse Road.
Providence
Date: Sunday, July 2nd
Time: Concert starts at 6 pm, with Fireworks at 9 pm

Admission Price: Free
Important Details: Open to the public, there will be food trucks, live music by Beck Bass and Friends, and a fireworks show over the bay to cap off the evening.
Bristol
Date: Monday, July 3rd
Time: 9:30 pm

Pawtucket
Date: Monday, July 3rd
Time: Dusk
Address: 1 Columbus Ave, Pawtucket, RI
Admission Price: Free
Important Details: There will be food trucks on site from 3 pm to 9 pm. The first 3,000 fans will be allowed onto the field for the fireworks display. Wristbands can be obtained on a first-come, first-serve basis. Anyone coming to the event from 3-9 PM for food trucks, entertainment & activities will not need a ticket. 4th OF JULY
Fall River
Date: Tuesday, July 4th
Time: Gates open at 7:30 pm, and fireworks begin around 9 pm.
Address: The Historic Battleship Massachusetts in Battleship Cove, Fall River
Admission Price: $15 per person, available online
Important Details: bags, backpacks, weapons, alcoholic beverages, and coolers are not allowed. All guests must proceed through a security checkpoint prior to entry. Visit Battleship Cove online for more details.

Time: Around 9 pm
Address: Over the Taunton River in Fall River
Admission Price: Free

New Bedford
Date: Tuesday, July 4th (Rain date will be Wednesday, July 5th)
Time: 9 pm
Address: Lower Union Street (between N. Water St. and Route 18) will be closed to vehicle traffic and will be one of the best spots in downtown New Bedford to view the fireworks display.

Plymouth

Address: For best viewing, find a westward-facing spot along Newport Harbor.

Seekonk

Time: Gates open at 2:30 for advanced ticket holders with a 5 pm start time
