DARTMOUTH — FBI agents visited a Dartmouth eye center Wednesday, reportedly evacuating the building while conducting an investigation.
The agents were seen clearing out Koch Eye Associates at 51 State Road at approximately 5 p.m. Wednesday. The location operates as the Eye Health Vision Center.
An FBI spokeswoman confirmed to WBSM News Wednesday evening that the FBI was working with another agency and "conducting court-authorized activity" in regards to Koch Eye Associates. She said no further details would be made available at this time.
NBC 10 reports that FBI agents also were seen outside the Warwick, Rhode Island location of Koch Eye Associates, "wearing 'Office of Inspector General' jackets" and "leaving the building with boxes in their hands."
Koch Eye Associates and Eye Health Vision Center are part of the Claris Vision group of eye centers.
