Hundreds of people, especially families were spotted in Downtown New Bedford Tuesday night, enjoying City Celebrates New Years Eve. The program started at 4:30 with opening ceremonies at City Hall. Sharon Matzek of Marion spoke with WBSM News at the New Bedford Art Museum.....

Lucinda Riveira attended a magic show at the Art Museum with her family. She welcomed the early start time.

Magicians, jugglers, and musicians all performed at various sites throughout the Downtown.

TSM - The band "Fourteen Strings" performs at Cafe Arpeggio

The evening was capped with a fireworks display over New Bedford Harbor.
