City Celebrates

Christmas has yet to come, but the City of New Bedford is already rolling out plans for New Year's Eve.

NEW BEDFORD — With frigid temperatures expected on Sunday evening, many of this year's City Celebrates! New Year's Eve events in downtown New Bedford have been moved indoors.

The City of New Bedford rang in another new year with its annual City Celebrates! New Year's Eve! event downtown Saturday evening.

New Bedford officials announced plans for City Celebrates! New Year's Eve! 2016 Monday afternoon at City Hall.

The City of New Bedford helped ring in the New Year with its annual "City Celebrates!" event Thursday night.

At Thursday night's City Celebrates! New Year's Eve celebration in New Bedford revelers will not be allowed to view the fireworks show on State Pier.

With less than two weeks to go, the City of New Bedford is gearing up for the quickly approaching City Celebrates New Year's Eve event.

Hundreds of people, especially families were spotted in Downtown New Bedford Tuesday night, enjoying City Celebrates New Years Eve.  The program started at 4:30 with opening ceremonies at City Hall.  Sharon Matzek of Marion spoke with WBSM News at the New Bedford Art Museum........
