Fallen Marine Laid To Rest

US Marine Sargent Daniel Vasselian will be buried Thursday at Mount Vernon cemetery in Abington following a Roman Catholic funeral mass. The 27-year-old Abington native was killed in combat in Afghanistan last week during his third tour of duty. Wednesday more than a thousand people turned out for Vasselian's wake. The Marine had recently celebrated his fourth wedding anniversary with his wife, Erin.
