Fall River’s Fourth of July Waterfront Celebrations
FALL RIVER (WBSM) — Independence Day is right around the corner, meaning a day of celebration is upon us.
People from all over will gather to celebrate a holiday of freedom and pride, decked out in their best red, white and blue attire. Usually this means cookouts, a beach trip if the weather permits, and of course an incredible fireworks display.
If you live in Fall River or a nearby SouthCoast town, the city has announced its Fourth of July schedule taking place at multiple locations on the waterfront.
Mayor Paul E. Coogan shared additional programming for the city's celebration, which will feature fireworks over the Taunton River at around 9 p.m.
Before the fireworks display, there will be music and food trucks at the City Pier, Heritage State Park and Bicentennial Park.
