Inside Revive MD: The Physician-Led Center Tackling the Hormone and Menopause Renaissance
When long-time Endocrinologist Dr. Kishore Lakshman noticed that more and more of his patients were struggling to find localized, in-person hormonal care, he knew the next step for his career was to fill the gap and open a stand-alone, physician-led practice. Together with his wife Dr. Swetha Nataraj, an Aesthetic Medicine Specialist & Nephrologist, the team opened Revive MD to help address the increasing need for midlife health and wellness both internally and externally.
Filling the Gap in Local Midlife and Hormone Care
Revive MD Hormone & Aesthetic, a Prima CARE organization, officially opened in October of 2025 at 215 Pleasant Street in Fall River, prepared to meet the needs of local patients who needed more specific care when it came to hormonal health and optimization.
Moving Beyond Online Supplements and Quick Fixes
As online hormone chatter and social media platforms began to overwhelm people with buzz words and over the counter supplements that promised to be the cure-all, Dr. Lakshman knew that Revive MD would be the solution to the hormone optimization and “menopause renaissance.”
Rather than vulnerable audiences being targeted online and sold antidotes for health issues like low testosterone and perimenopause, Dr. Lakshman provides real human connection and support during transitional moments in midlife health. The approach has paid off with patients coming from as far as the Cape for treatment, couples coming for treatment together, and endless referrals from patients happy to report they feel like themselves again.
A Personalized Approach: ‘Feeling Old Is Optional’
“People deserve a place where they can talk openly, be heard, and understand what’s truly happening in their bodies. Most times people just accept the idea that, ‘oh, I'm just getting old’ or ‘This must just happen with old age.’ and when they come to me they may say things like, ‘I’m a shell of myself’ or ‘I don’t feel like myself anymore’. And we listen to that, and we get to know the person and talk about what the next best step is for them specifically, and we make the decision together. Our office motto is ‘Aging is inevitable. Feeling old is optional.’”
