
Fall River Pub Loses Licenses After Overnight Shooting
FALL RIVER (WBSM) — Mayor Paul Coogan announced that a Fall River pub has had all of its licenses suspended following a shooting at the establishment.
The Mayor’s Office said that on Thursday, December 18 at 1 p.m., the Fall River Licensing Board held an emergency meeting due to a shooting with multiple victims that took place inside Iced Out Pub, located at 16 East Main Street, earlier that morning.
“This type of criminal activity will not be tolerated in establishments licensed by the city,” Mayor Coogan said. “We will take swift action to prevent these incidents from occurring and the safety of our neighborhoods from being placed in jeopardy.”

Fall River Police Detail Overnight Response
According to Fall River Police, officers responded at about 2:10 a.m. to the pub for a report of shots fired. They arrived to find a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. There were also two other individuals located at the scene with minor injuries.
Licenses Suspended Pending Hearing Next Week
During the licensing board meeting later that day, the board voted unanimously to suspend all of Iced Out’s licenses pending a “show cause” hearing scheduled for Tuesday, December 23 at 1 p.m.
“This board is in full support of the safety of the Fall River Police Department and the public,” Licensing Board Chair Gregory Brilhante said.
