The anime phenomenon K-Pop Demon Hunters is unavoidable these days. Even if you haven't watched it on Netflix, you for sure have heard their music.

For the past few weeks, this cartoon has become the obsession of young people everywhere. For those that may have heard about it but haven't taken the time to watch, the story is simple.

The members of a K-Pop girl group named Huntrix lead a double life. Outside of performing, they also have to face off against the rival boy band Saja Boys, who just happen to secretly be demons.

Fairly quickly after its release on Netflix in late August, the numbers around the streaming film and the soundtrack surged and broke records across the world. The women who voiced the fictional Huntrix have now experienced chart-topping songs, including one we play on Fun 107 titled "Golden."

Within the first week of its release, movie theaters were having dedicated screenings for a singalong event.

I hate to equate it to the phenomenon that is Taylor Swift, but right now anything you do Demon Hunters-themed is sure to draw attention and a crowd.

That's why when I came across a K-Pop Demon Hunter Halloween Brunch happening in Fall River, I had to share the details with you.

It's happening on Sunday, October 12 at Pier 52 and is absolutely kid-friendly. There will be tons of Demon Hunters-themed decor as well a character appearances, dancing along to Demon Hunters music, face painting and more.

There will be two Demon Hunters shows taking place one at 10 a.m. and noon and they encourage wearing costumes.

As you can imagine, this will be pretty popular, so purchasing a ticket beforehand is encouraged. Tickets are $10 per person over the age of two.
