FALL RIVER (WBSM) — Fall River Police arrested two men on gun charges with one of them also charged with drug offenses following an investigation.

According to a police Facebook post, a “continued investigation on Almy Street” by Officers Kyle Raposo, Greg Homen and Juan Rodriguez of the Patrol Bureau led to the arrests of two men: Brandon Pacheco, 30, and Joshua Dalton, 36.

As a result of the investigation, police said the officers seized two firearms, ammunition, a “large quantity” of fentanyl, crack cocaine and suboxone, and over $5,000 in cash.

Pacheco was charged with carrying a firearm without a license to carry, carrying a loaded firearm without an LTC, trafficking a Class A drug and trafficking a Class B drug. He was also charged with possession with intent to distribute a Class B drug.

Dalton was charged with possession of a firearm without a license to carry and possession of ammunition.
