
Fall River Police Arrest Man Who Allegedly Robbed Coffee Shop With a Knife
FALL RIVER (WBSM) — Fall River Police arrested a man who allegedly robbed a coffee shop with a knife on Tuesday.
According to a police Facebook post, patrol officers and members of the Community Action & Suppression Team responded to the Brazilian Coffee Shop at 1501 Pleasant Street for a reported armed robbery.
Police began searching for the suspect, and Detective Corey Dolan saw a man fitting his description “walking quickly and behaving suspiciously,” according to police, down Pleasant Street.

The man fled the scene when police activated their sirens, but was taken into custody following a brief foot pursuit.
Police said that “through further investigation, it was confirmed that the suspect had used a knife to commit a robbery at the business.”
He was identified as Tyrese Ray, 21. He was arrested and charged with armed robbery and vandalism.
