FALL RIVER (WBSM) — Fall River Police made two arrests on Thursday, including an alleged repeat drug trafficker and a juvenile arrested on firearms offenses for the second time in four months.

According to police, detectives first executed a search warrant on Bank Street targeting Angel Alvarado, 45. According to police, detectives seized approximately 28.35 grams of fentanyl and 18.58 grams of crack from the residence.

Alvarado was arrested and charged with trafficking in heroin/morphine/opium and trafficking cocaine.

Alvardo’s Second Drug Arrest in Six Months

Police said it was the second time in six months that Alvarado was arrested for drug trafficking. He had been arrested on December 11, 2024 and charged with multiple counts of trafficking and distribution as well as tampering with evidence, according to police. In that arrest, investigators seized 25.94 grams of crack and 6.7 grams of fentanyl.

Repeat Juvenile Firearms Offender Arrested Again

Also on May 8, a search warrant was executed on Quarry Street, targeting a 15-year-old juvenile and which resulted in the discovery of a 3D-printed 9mm “ghost gun” loaded with six live rounds in the juvenile’s bedroom.

The teen was arrested and charged with possession of a large capacity firearm, possession of a firearm without an LTC/FID and possession of ammunition without an FID.

According to police, it was the juvenile’s second arrest on firearms-related charges in just four months, after they were arrested on January 10 in possession of a Springfield XDS 9mm and released with GPS monitoring.
