FAIRHAVEN — The suspects in a recent spate of vehicle break-ins in Fairhaven have been identified.

Fairhaven police were on the lookout for a man and a woman driving a dark-colored SUV who allegedly broke into several vehicles at the Fairhaven Walmart at around 10:40 yesterday morning.

Police said the pair were later seen using one of the stolen credit cards at Moriarty Liquors on Middle Street in Fairhaven just after 11 a.m., and then used the card again at a 133 County Street store in New Bedford.

Fairhaven Police first posted a request yesterday at around 1:30 p.m. for the public's help identifying the suspects caught on surveillance footage.

But in an update posted just over seven hours later, police said the suspects had been identified.

Police have not released the identities of the suspects.
