Facebook is moving to get its users moving. The social network giant has acquired the popular fitness-tracking app Moves.

The people who run Moves say it will continue to be a standalone fitness application, separate from the main Facebook app.

The firm says hooking up with Facebook will help improve the app and extend its reach.

Moves has had more than four-million downloads since it launched in January of 2013.
