White House correspondent Ellen Ratner says she doesn't think Donald Trump's candidacy is going away anytime soon.

Ratner is the Washington Bureau Chief for the Talk Radio News Service and a contributor to the Fox News Channel.

She attended Thursday night's Republican debate in Cleveland.  During a stop at WBSM on Friday, Ratner says while Trump may be outrageous to some, others are willing to accept him.

"I've got news for you, I think the average American is saying hey, this guy makes me laugh. I'm willing to invite him into my living room for the next four years," said Ratner.

She was also critical of the Hillary Clinton campaign, and the candidate's reluctance to meet with reporters to answer questions about her e-mails while she was Secretary of State.

"The American people are saying if I was Secretary of State, would I have a seperate server, would I not obey the law? And I think that's the lens they take it from," said Ratner.

Ratner is heard on over 400 radio stations, including WBSM. In addition to her professional career , Ellen is well known for her tireless work on humanitarian projects.
