A new term has surfaced online that's catered toward millennials. It’s called “Millennial Gray” and it refers to the generation’s supposed obsession with neutral tones and gray décor.

I took one look around my home and realized not only is gray the main color, but I also have several variations of gray as if that counts as a color palette.

It was our generation’s response to the obnoxious neon colors our parents used to make us wear in the '90s and early 2000s. We craved a safer palette.

While I have fallen victim to “Millennial Gray," I still find beauty in maximalist and eccentric décor, and when I came across this house for sale in Somerville, it was as if my childhood imagination had come to life in this one house.

No millennial gray in sight.

A historic, single-family home in Somerville recently hit the market, boasting a price tag of $1.475 million, but the style of the home is truly priceless. Sitting on over 8,000 square feet of land, perched on the hill of a quiet street, sits an eye-catching home that leaves passersby dying to know what the inside looks like.

The Carol Kelly Team of Compass Realty raves about the home’s natural light, decorative moldings, built-in floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and high ceilings.

With three bedrooms, one-and-a-half bath, chef's kitchen and an enchanting garden, the combination of bright colors and outlandish fixtures give this home a cartoonish feel in the best way.

It even caught the attention of Zillow Gone Wild:
