Rhode Island Will Host Christian McCaffrey, Olivia Culpo Wedding

Wedding bells are ringing for Rhode Island native and former Miss Universe, Olivia Culpo.

She may have grown up in Cranston, but her impressive career has taken her all around the world, and until this weekend, her wedding location was a mystery.

According to one of her latest TikToks, Culpo and NFL running back Christian McCaffrey will say “I do” in the Ocean State.

Who is Olivia Culpo?

Olivia Culpo made a name for herself in 2012 when she became Miss Rhode Island USA. She added more crowns to her collection when she won Miss USA and Miss Universe that same year.

Culpo would go on to become a successful model, actress, social media influencer, and successful restaurant owner.

Culpo began dating San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey in 2019 and the two lovebirds announced their engagement in April of this year.

Culpo Is Getting Hitched in Rhode Island

Over the weekend, Culpo shared a "GRWM" with half a million of her closest friends, and disclosed her big day would be in the very state she grew up in.

“It took us a really long time to figure out where we wanted to get married,” she said. Since her future hubby is from Colorado, that was on the potential list, but with an excited shriek, Culpo announced Rhode Island would be the backdrop for her special day.

As she got ready to check out her venue for the first time, Culpo shared that she prayed for her "ideal husband".

“I got down on my hands and knees and said, ‘God, please show me a better way,’ she said. “I wrote down exactly what I wanted.”

Turns out McCaffrey checked all the boxes.

This wedding will have Rhode Islanders buzzing with anticipation until she officially unveils the venue, but one thing is for certain. Former Miss Universe will soon be a Mrs.
