The damage being done to our kids and those among us who are most vulnerable in the name of progressive politics is stunning, as evidenced by the meltdown of an AOC supporter during a town hall meeting in Queens.

The Green New Deal Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has warned that the world will end in 10 years unless climate change is addressed immediately by enacting her massive legislative proposal, co-sponsored with Sen. Ed Markey (D-Massachusetts), that deals with the subject.

Not everyone listening understands that AOC is just a left-wing hack with about as much knowledge of the climate as Porky Pig, as evidenced by the outburst of a supporter who urged those around her to "get rid of the babies" by eating them to reduce carbon dioxide.

The woman appeared desperate as she raged, "We only have a few months left. I love that you support the Green Deal, but it’s not gonna get rid of fossil fuel. It’s not going to solve the problem fast enough. A Swedish professor said we can eat dead people, but it’s not fast enough! So, I think your next campaign slogan needs to be this: We’ve got to start eating babies."

The woman was actually wearing a T-shirt with the phrase “Save the Planet Eat the Children.”

The poor woman was absolutely out of her mind with worry about the fate of the planet. This is what left-wing politics is all about, scaring the bejeezus out of people, and Ocasio-Cortez wasted little time in turning the incident around to promote another pet project, socialized medicine:

People, tune this garbage out. Do not let these people get to you. A recent survey indicated that one in three Americans say that cable news coverage of politics is driving them crazy. This is proof of that. Another four percent say cable coverage has actually led them to consider suicide. Turn off the TV and put down the phone.

I pray this poor woman is okay.
