East Providence Woman Charged With Leaving 8-Month Old Baby In Cold Car At Wrentham Outlets [VIDEO]
A mother from East Providence has been charged with child endangerment after leaving her 8-month old baby girl inside a cold car at the Wrentham outlets.
According to WHDH 7, at around 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Wrentham Police received a report of a shopper seeing a baby left alone in car that was parked in a handicapped spot.
When police came to rescue the 8-month old, the baby was found crying in a freezing cold car as temperatures dropped to the teens and twenties.
When police arrived at the scene, the mother came to the car after leaving her baby inside the car for 10 minutes.
The mother of the 8-month old child stated that she did not believe that she was breaking the law.
The baby was then taken to Norwood Hospital and is expected to be OK.
