East Freetown Child Care Center Earns Small Business Award

The New Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce has selected an East Freetown Childcare Center as its "Small Business of The Year."

The With All My Heart Child Care started in Doreen Fouquette's home in 2002. The daycare program grew quickly and its now located in an 8,500 square foot building, featuring state of the art security, classrooms, a full kitchen and library. The facility now serves 68 children, and has 15 full and part time employees.

Also recognized was Seastreak LLC of New Bedford, a ferry service provider on the waterfront. The firm was given an award for helping to boost Economic Development in New Bedford.

The awards was presented Thursday during the Chambers Good Morning Southcoast business series.
