Doc Rivers, former coach of the Boston Celtics, to me, gave a virtual slap in the face to the Boston Celtics, Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, and every player associated with the 2008 Boston Celtics. He said.....

They should be better than any team I've ever coached, I really believe that," Rivers said. "They're more athletic. They don't have the veteran IQ but they should be in that area. We have a couple of individual defenders that can be dominating on defense. We have great speed but we don't have the size in some ways as some of the teams I've coached."

This coming from a guy who hasn't even coached a pre-season game for the Los Angeles Clippers yet. Is Doc Rivers that spiteful against his former ball club? Yes, the same one that one a title, and almost two with?

For me, Doc Rivers drops another notch!
