Did Bernando LaPallo, 111-Year-Old Yankee Fan, Lie About His Age?

A big story out of this weekend was the great story of Bernando LaPallo. he is a 111-year-old New York Yankees fan - except, maybe he isn't. 

Now he is a Yankee fan, that is clear, however he might not be 111. According to the Associated Press, there is no proof that LaPallo is that age. In fact, the only verification that the AP could find shows that LaPallo was born in 1910, not 1901 like he stated.

If his claim to being 111 is true, LaPallo would officially be the second oldest man in the world. However if he's wrong, he's just another 102 or 103 year-old Yankee fan. No big deal. Still Bernando looks great for his age. We wouldn't put him a day past 95.
