The "Deflategate" controversy that hung over the Patriots Super Bowl-49 run is returning with some new juice.

E-S-P-N is reporting a Pats locker room attendant tried to sneak a suspect kicking ball into January's AFC Championship game at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro.

The report says officials then called the league after they became suspicious.

The Patriots employee has been identified as Jim McNally.

The NFL has not yet released a statement.
