A Brown University student reported to campus police she was sexually assaulted after she and another student drank an alcoholic punch with a suspected date-rape drug at a fraternity party.

Margaret Klawunn, the university's vice president for campus life and student services, said in an email that Brown has suspended the unidentified organization hosting Friday night's event.

The campus-wide alert was first reported by The Brown Daily Herald.

Providence police say they have not received a report of the alleged incident.
