DARTMOUTH — For the second time in three days, a Dartmouth bicyclist was struck by a motor vehicle.

On Monday, November 11 at approximately 9:55 a.m., Dartmouth Police responded to the intersection of Slocum Road and Lexington Avenue to investigate a motor vehicle vs. bicyclist crash.

Upon arrival, it was determined that an elderly female bicyclist from Dartmouth had been struck by a 2010 Volkswagen Beetle. Police identified the driver of the vehicle as 18-year-old Kailee Ferreira of Dartmouth.

The elderly female was transported by ambulance to Rhode Island Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
