The Dartmouth Mall is losing one of it's longest tenants.

The Ruby Tuesday restaurant closed it's doors over the weekend, along with 94 other restaurants nationwide.

Renee DeBarros was a waitress at the restaurant, and tells WBSM News she is disappointed in the decision to close the Dartmouth location. "I loved it there. It's just like a home, I've known it for so long. To know now every time I go to that mall it's not going to be there and all of the memories will have to do with it being closed. It's crazy. It boggles my mind. I'm still speechless."

DeBarros, along with other employees, was called into an emergency mandatory meeting Sunday morning. At the meeting, managers informed the staff that the restaurant would no longer be in operation. DeBarros told WBSM News she knows at least two of the managers had transferred to other locations.

The chain closed 95 restaurants due to performance issues.

Beth Zager, spokesperson for the Dartmouth Mall, says Ruby Tuesday had been at the mall since 1994. It's not yet known what will replace the restaurant.
