Dartmouth Police Arrest Three in Gas Station Robbery
DARTMOUTH — Members of the Dartmouth Police Detective Division, with assistance from members of the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Unit, arrested three suspects on warrants Friday in connection with an armed robbery that occurred at the Shell gas station on State Road on November 25, 2016.
Arrested was 38-year-old Robert Perard of Canton, charged with robbery, firearmed and masked, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (firearm), witness intimidation, and conspiracy; 30-year-old Felecia President of Westport, charged with robbery, firearmed and masked, and conspiracy; and 27-year-old Chelsea President of Taunton, charged wtih robbery, firearmed and masked, witness intimidation and conspiracy.
"This is yet another shining example of our Detective Division's dedication to bringing closure to a very serious crime," Acting Chief Brian Levesque said. "I'm very pleased with the outcome, and that the collective efforts put forth by the members of both Dartmouth PD detectives and the Massachusetts State Police VFAS Unit, had a positive and peaceful ending."
The investigation was led by Dartmouth Police Detective Derek Sousa.
