Dartmouth Man Named Assistant Commissioner Of MDAR

Jason Wentworth, a former aide to State Rep. Christopher Markey of Dartmouth has been named the assistant Commissioner for the Department of Agricultural Resources.

Commissioner John Lebeaux says Wentworth's appointment will help the Department in its mission to keep the Mass. food supply safe and secure, and keep agriculture economically and environmentally sound.

Wentworth formerly headed the Southeastern Mass. Agricultural Partnership, a non-profit that promotes agriculture in Bristol, Plymouth and Norfolk counties.
