Chicago Cubs manager Joe Maddon says he prefers his grandchildren sit behind the protective screen when they're at games.

Major League Baseball has said it will re-evaluate fan safety at stadiums after a woman at Fenway Park was hit in the head by a broken bat last week. Tonya Carpenter was injured while sitting in one of the first few rows between home plate and the third base dugout, an area where fans are not protected by netting.

``I'm certain that there's going to be something done, absolutely,'' Maddon said. ``I don't want my kids sitting there, I know that. When my kids are in the ballpark, my grandkids, I definitely want them behind the net.''  (Associated Press)
