Coming off of the NBA All-Star break, the Boston Celtics will kick off the stretch run of their season Friday night in Detroit

With 23 games remaining in the regular season, the C's will look to bounce back from a tough stretch, heading into the break, in which they lost three games in a row.

Playing against the Pistons could be just the thing to switch up the momentum, as Detroit enters the game one game under .500, at 28-29. They did acquire star forward Blake Griffin just prior to the break, however, and have gone 5-3 with the big man on the court.

The Celts, who enter the game two games back of Toronto for the top spot in the East and with a record of 40-19, will have their full complement of players available, as guard Marcus Smart, who missed the final handful of games prior to the break with a hand injury, has been cleared to play.

Catch the game on TV on NBCSports Boston.
