Andrea Garr-Barnes is doing important work in New Bedford. For the past 15 years, she's been leading discussions on equity and inclusion with private businesses and in higher education.

She is now leading The Social Justice Reading Circle and Reading Justice Series for the YWCA Southeastern Massachusetts and the New Bedford Branch of the NAACP. The discussions are being conducted through Zoom.

The next discussion, entitled "How To Be an AntiRacist Community," is scheduled for August 11 and is sponsored by First Citizens Federal Credit Union.
